Ethan Brown is a climate journalist best known as Founder and Host of The Sweaty Penguin, an award-winning comedy climate podcast that ran from 2020-2024 through PBS's climate initiative "Peril and Promise." The podcast released over 220 episodes, amassed over 50,000 downloads, interviewed over 100 climate scientists and scholars from 18 countries and 6 continents, earned Webby and Signal Awards, and successfully reached audiences on both sides of the aisle by using humor, critical thinking, and solutions to cut through the doom-and-gloom of the climate conversation. Ethan is also a writer and commentator for Young Voices, and his writing has been featured in outlets including Newsweek, The Hill, and Orange County Register. In recent months, Ethan's focus has shifted to publishing news stories on climate solutions, op-eds addressing antisemitism in the climate movement, and volunteering in Israel. He has a dual degree in Environmental Analysis & Policy and Film & Television from Boston University.
