Guillermo Peña is a political economist focused on economic development through the private sector. He is currently the Commercial Director at Universidad de la Libertad in Mexico City. He is also President of Fundación Eléutera, a non profit free market thinktank, founded in 2013 in Honduras, where they focus on upward social mobility, migration, education, electricity market reform, e-government and bureaucratic simplification.

In the private sector, he is President of Orchid Properties, a special economic zone development company, and Managing Partner of Blackbeard Media Group, a brand strategy firm. He also serves on other industry and non profit boards.
