Jen Sidorova is a documentary film producer and rental property owner in Buffalo, NY. Her vision and drive for “Shabbification: The Story of Rent Control” comes from her experience with regulation as a real estate entrepreneur in New York. In developing this film, she also drew upon her experience in government reform at Reason Foundation, where she is a policy analyst. As a PhD Candidate at Georgia Tech, Sidorova leverages her understanding of data to conduct cutting-edge research on technology policy, public finance, and housing regulation and provide expert commentary for stakeholders and the media. Her work has been published in The Washington Times, Orange County Register, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, NJ.com, MarketWatch, The Clarion-Ledger, Union-Sun & Journal, Real Clear Policy, Townhall, and Yahoo! Money, Governing, and Fox News. Her academic work has been presented multiple times at leading research conferences including APPAM, ISA, ABFM, and WEIS.
