Software developer and libertarian activist Stephen Villee is founder of the Club 75 Alliance, which advocates for a US constitutional amendment allowing New Hampshire to secede, to be free of federal income tax. Stephen was one of the earliest Free State Project participants, moving to New Hampshire in 2003. He has served as treasurer for both the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance and the Free State Project. He is also the Libertarian candidate for Governor of New Hampshire.

Stephen avoids assigning blame to non-libertarians. He views the study of politics as the study of human nature. In the Club 75 Alliance Manifesto, he explains in a calm, objective way how income tax benefits the majority at the expense of a minority, and how it's perfectly understandable that the majority votes for it.

Stephen earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Harvard University in 1980.
